Make the caramel:<\/p>\n<p>In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, water, and lemon juice. Don\u2019t stir once it heats.<br \/>\nCook on medium heat, swirling pan occasionally, until it turns deep amber &#8211; like honey color. Takes 8-10 mins. Watch it closely; it burns fast.<br \/>\nImmediately pour into your mold\/loaf pan 8&#215;4 inch or 6-inch round cake tin. Tilt to coat the bottom evenly. Set aside to harden. It\u2019ll crack &#8211; that\u2019s normal.<br \/>\n2. Make the custard:<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 160\u00b0C \/ 320\u00b0F.<br \/>\nIn a bowl, gently whisk eggs + yolks until just mixed. Don\u2019t beat or you\u2019ll get bubbles.<br \/>\nAdd evaporated milk, condensed milk, whole milk, vanilla, and salt.
